Cinder by Marissa Meyer

My Rating: 4 /5

Short Review: Alternate Beijing. World of androids. Cinder is the best mechanic in the whole city, but she is also a …cyborg. She has got a mean stepmother and two stepsisters, who don’t miss a chance to revile her. However meeting Prince Kai completely changes her and Prince’s lives. But there is no possibility for their attraction to grow as ruthless lunar people are preparing to make their move. Earth is in danger of being seized by lunatics. What if only Cinder can prevent it?

My thoughts: This is another adaption of “Cinderella”. It was pretty predictable and got me excited only in the middle. If you are in the mood for a nice & light story you can pick it up! 🙂

    Hey Fatima,
I’ve also read this one and loved the adaptation of Cinderella. Marissa Meyer also did a great job of world building. But knowing it’s a YA novel the complexity could have been better. Overall I agree with you.
